Experts at Play.
Navigating your child’s developmental needs can be overwhelming and isolating. It’s a process that requires a trusted partner – someone who will listen to your worries and say, “Don’t worry, we can handle this together.”
Buttonloop Children’s Therapies can be that partner. Like the buttons on a coat, we are here to help things connect – in our case, that means the various elements of your child’s development. Working together, we can help your child reach their fullest potential, and send them out into the world buttoned up in a coat of confidence and strength.
A Play-Centric Approach
So, what makes us different?
Award winning clinicians
Since 2010, we have served more than 5,000 families on the North Shore. Our clinicians are best in class - recognized nationally with ACE awards, speakers at national conferences, and specialty experts, and we have one of the top Apraxia experts in the North East. We are highly regarded by our physician partners, including Pediatric Health Care Associates, a Boston Children’s Primary Care alliance member.
Purposeful play.
The pace of the world, the prevalence of screens, and having entertainment constantly at our fingertips has made play a dying art. But here, we believe in pioneering back to play – it has the power to teach children everything they need to grow into happy, successful, well-rounded adults. Our play-based therapy approach is essential in working effectively with our youngest clients.
Outdoor experiences.
We’ve partnered with play experts to create an on-site, outdoor play space to help us incorporate nature and all of its benefits into our therapies, from navigating uneven play surfaces to getting your daily dose of Vitamin D. It’s important children learn important skills, but it is just as important that we provide the needed scaffolding to help them generalize those skills outside those four therapy walls so they can really soar!
Intense collaboration.
Our clinicians collaborate and block time each day to share insights and findings with one another, and this collaborative approach extends to our families and pediatricians. Our goal in collaboration is to keep the focus on the whole child, which means understanding family and school dynamics and their experiences outside of our sessions together each and every week to provide the best treatment plan for your child. Whether your child is seeing a feeding specialist, an OT, or an SLP, we all work together to weave together a seamless plan with you.
Passion & dedication.
For our team, this work is our purpose. We feel real joy in working with children and each other to offer services that have the power to change lives.
Some of our success stories.
"I am blown away by his progress with Katie in such a short time. And at our initial visit with Samantha last year, she was able to clinically evaluate his core issue (adenoids ENT problem) and he had a surgery which changed his and our life. I am just so impressed with everyone there. We feel blessed to have found you."
