Playing with other kids improves social skills

Given this challenging time of social isolation, we are delighted to offer small social groups where children can learn how to play together again in a safe environment.

Buttonloop social skills groups — Social Groups at Buttonloop

These groups will be led by speech and occupational therapists, and each child will have unique goals tailored to fit their individual needs. Partner activities covered will include: turn taking, problem solving, sharing ideas, peer interactions, following directions, motor planning, and improving spatial awareness.

Buttonloop feeding therapy — Feeding Groups at Buttonloop

Increase your child's acceptance of a variety of foods with the fun and play-based SOS Approach to Feeding, led by our Speech team.

"My children love "Snack Class!" We were cooking separate meals for each child before this class. Kirsten made the class fun and engaging. We were shocked to see our children eating new foods (pureed squash?! roast beef!?). We also were given guidance on how to approach meal time at home, which has made dinners less stressful!"
